Kamryn's Baptism Day!!!

The long awaited, highly anticipated, twice-postponed day of Kamryn's baptism finally arrived yesterday--and it was a great day!  Kamryn has been so excited to finally get baptized.  The doctor took the cast off her arm on Monday, and now she is castless and braceless for the first time since April 29.  That was the day she was going to be baptized, but had surgery for her broken leg instead.  It's been a long three months, but yesterday was worth waiting for!  Cute little Kamryn was baptized by her big brother Josh and confirmed by her dad, then celebrated with brunch back at our house with lots of cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.  It was a sweet, special day for a sweet and special little gal.  We love you Kamryn!!!

Kamryn's grandma Harris always
brings beautiful flowers for our
special occasions.  We are lucky to
have such a talented and thoughtful
grandma!
The night before the baptism, baking up a storm to celebrate.
Every special occasion needs yummy food and cookies, for sure!
Bye-bye cast, I'd like to say I'll miss ya,
but I won't!  Kam's cast started out blue, but it
cracked and needed to be reinforced.  The doc
said "You need a pink cast.  I'm going to cover
up this blue with a nice, pretty pink."
And he did!
Kam was pretty nervous about this crazy
contraption the first time around with her leg.
This time she knew what to expect and it was
a breeze!  She is supposed to wear a
brace on her arm for another week, but
we gave it the day off yesterday!
