From Elder Griffin: Vamos Arriba!

Hola queridos!

Espero que todo este bien!  This past week was great!  We found another couple named Janet and Omar, and we set a baptism date for September 17!  They are awesome.  They are both about 60 years old and have a few kids, and they both came to church yesterday and loved it and got to know some of the members, and still want to get baptized!  Vamos Arriba!  Things are going up in San Jose de Carrasco dos, haha!  This is the last week of this change, so I could either stay here or leave, we won't know till Sunday night.  I kind of want to go to a different area, but at the same time, I know the ward and stuff here so it would be good to stay.  Yesterday in church there was a guy from Alpine, Utah that was visiting.  He served his mission here in the eighties.  It was weird speaking English.  Grandma and grandpa, thanks so much for the letter!  I got it this last box on Friday.  Thanks for the stamps and I hope everything is okay.  I'll be praying for you, grandma.  Since changes are this next week, we aren't going to get the box for a couple weeks, so I have no idea if anything is coming or not.  I'm just used to not getting letters.  We finally got some dressers in our house and a big desk but we still don't have a phone or a water heater.  Its okay though.  I can't believe summer is already over!  That's crazy, I didn't even know it had started yet.  I'm all confused with my seasons these days.  Its starting to warm up here now.  Today we went around to different places ant took pics of stuff, since its probably our last pday all together.  I have sooo many pics but I can't send them all.  When I get home we'll just look through them all.  Well, all is well here.  We're just chugging along, haha.  I'm glad everyone is safe back at home and having a good time.  Miss you all a ton!  Love you all!

Love,
Elder Griffin
