Amazing, amazing week!!! Everything went perfectly. The two couples got married on Friday, and we went to be witnesses and sign the papers, and then we went to their house after and their family was there and we all had some pizza and took pictures and ate cake and stuff. Once in a lifetime opportunity. I never thought I would be in a Latino wedding on the other side of the world. It was soooo fun!
Then, on Saturday, they were baptized. Micheal, Maria, and Miriam. I baptized the two women, and Elder Johnson baptized Micheal. It was awesome! There was a ton of support from the ward which was great, and then we had a wedding reception after the baptism, haha. More pizza and cake (and dancing for everyone except the Elders), and pictures and happy faces. Then, yesterday, on Sunday, we confirmed them as members in sacrament meeting. I'm trying to send as many pics as possible but I don't know how many I can. It was an amazing experience! This whole process with them has been a complete miracle!
On Saturday we were trying to fix the font, cause it was full of water and we had to empty it bucket by bucket and drain it on the bathroom floor. Then the dang water heater was broken so we had to fix it and crank the water on full blast to fill it in time. (It was still filling during the baptisms). I had to dunk them down low to get 'em under, haha. It was such a cool day! I'm going to send this email, then send one more with just pictures. I can't write much, but the pictures tell the story anyway!
We have two weeks left in this change I could either stay in this area or change. Don't know! I'm excited, though. Well, I'm glad all is well at home!
Love you all!!!
