The conductor had Josh come up and introduce his song, Iron Reign
I'm a little slow with this post, but last week the Nebo Youth Philharmonic Orchestra played "Iron Reign", a song that Josh composed. This is the third year Josh has played in the orchestra, and he loves it. The first two years he played the cello, but he has taught himself how to play percussion and is doing that this year. He fills in on the piano too, whenever they need him. He also loves to compose all sorts of music and that is his favorite thing to do in his spare time. He'd love to compose for movies when he gets older. The song he wrote was pretty hard and the violins had to play their part pretty fast. It sounded great, and I was so proud when I heard all of those band and orchestra instruments playing Josh's song. It was a great night. He has so much talent, and it didn't come from me, that's for sure. He has been really blessed, and I love listening to him play and hearing the music he writes. Way to go Josh, we love you!

We had lots of family come to listen to the performance. Here's Josh with Grandma and Grandpa Harris.
We love this talented kid!
