Elder Tyson Griffin: Every Week Goes Faster!

Hey people!

Another amazing week. Surprise!  Every week goes faster and faster.  I cant believe it. So, we have changes already, can you believe that?? Six more weeks have already passed by.  Anyway, so I am still going to be here in Malvin and the new assistant that takes Elder Curapil´s place comes in tomorrow night so it'll be awesome to get going with him!  Everything that happens here in the offices is like a dream, it goes by so fast.  I'm loving it though holy cow.  Never any time to think cause we are always soo busy. The best!

So on Sunday our talks went well, and luckily our investigators were there!  Alejandra came, so did Bruno and Enrique.  They are all so awesome!  Cleubulo couldn't come cause he was out of town, but he's coming tomorrow.  Enrique is a stud, but the poor guy is quite addicted to alcohol.  We are trying to help him to drop it so he can repent and get baptized, but it's really hard for him.  He is such a good guy when he is sober, knows a ton about the gospel and is really a good man.  Keeps his commitments and everything, but sometimes when we go he has relapsed and is kind of drunk and it's really hard to teach him. He refuses to admit that he's drunk and it's a pain for all of us. That's why nobody should drink!!  They cannot feel the spirit and make right decisions when they are under the influence of alcohol.  Anyway, so he is struggling with that, but we are helping him out.  We have a lesson with him this afternoon with a member, so we are hoping he hasn't been drinking so we can actually teach him.  Bruno, the single man whose wife died from cancer about a month ago, he is a really good man too, we´re just trying to help him get a real testimony of the gospel and not just want to get baptized cause it's something new for him. So, we have real "investigators" haha, they really are investigating. They all have lots of issues-  but that's what the atonement is for:)  I love the people here.

So yeah the Pugmires got here!  They are super nice, like a grandma and grandpa haha. They are actually from Fairview, so not too far away. Yesterday we went on a little trip with them to a zone outside of Montevideo to fix some house issues and stuff and I got to know them a little better, they are really good people!  We're glad to have them here. Anyway so it's been good having my license- especially now that the new assistant that comes isn't going to have one.  Hermana Armstrong is still in Utah, and we haven't heard much, they are trying to get everything figured out before they send her all the way back to Uruguay.   And, random news.. our elders quorum president here in Malvin is moving to Provo with his wife in April to go to BYU haha, so we'll be probably have them over for dinner some day. They are super awesome.  Anyway- Thanks everyone for everything!  I love you all!

PS... My pajamas finally got here haha. Woo! Thanks:)  I'll keep an eye out for the other package. Love you!
