From Elder Griffin: I Love the Mission!

Bueenoo mi gente,

It is POURING rain. The winter came back haha. Luckily it doesn't make it cold. The streets are flooded haha, walking from the house to the cyber our feet got soaked. I love it!  So, it was a great week:) Unfortunately, we didn't have the baptism yesterday, because the adversary is a punk and decided to break the water pipes in the church, sooo... we couldn't fill the baptismal font!  It was a bummer, but Cristofer is getting baptized on Saturday without a doubt:)  My comp and I also gave talks yesterday in church (again).  My fifth time in this area haha, the members are probably sick of me.  Everyone thinks I'm just going to live here forever cause I've been here for so long haha.

So the zone is doing well!  I love being a zone leader and being able to help other missionaries and go on divisions and stuff haha.  This week on Friday we traveled to Rio Branco, where I stayed there and did a division and a baptismal interview with one of our district leaders whose from Ecuador.  It was good!  Ohh something cool!  I found one of my converts there from Vergara!!  Rio Branco is like 45 minutes from Vergara, and apparently Angela had moved to Rio Branco to live with some other family members.  Idk if you remember her, it was clear back in like November when we baptized her.  She's 18 and got baptized with two other people.  Anyway, we were walking down the street, and I saw her walk around the corner and she ran up and shook my hand haha and we talked a little bit.  She's still goin firm!!  She has a calling in the ward in Rio Branco and goes to lessons with the missionaries there all the time haha, shares the gospel with everyone.  She said she's wanting to go on a mission too, so that's awesome!  It was fun to see her haha, it had been a long time!  It's always good to find out that your converts are still active!  I love the mission:)

So yeah this week some kid was walking in the street with a slingshot, and we walked past him and his friend and said hi like normal, cause usually they don't do anything. Anyway so we kept walking and after about 30 seconds he shot a rock at us and hit me right in the back of the head haha.  Little stinker . It's okay though.. I forgive him.  There's your fun story for the day haha.  This week on Friday we have to take the whole zone on a four hour bus ride to a town called Minas for a zone conference with a general authority that will take up the whole day.  It'll be an awesome experience!  I'm excited.  And I actually didn't get to make my cookies last week haha it was a crazy pday, y se me acabó el tiempo.  But I'm going to make them today.  Especially with the rain.  Wohoo! That is good that Josh got another job haha.  I'm proud of him.  Good luck with that!  Haha that's fun that you had a FHE with the hermanas.  How is the Inglis of the Latina one?  I want to have a family home evening at home with my family, lucky!

Well, I've gotta take off. But thanks for writing me every week and for all the love and support. I love you all! Chauuuuuuuu.
