So yeah, on Tuesday we went to Montevideo for the last zone leader council with pres Da Silva. It was so awesome!!! I'm sending a pic of me and pres and sister Da Silva. I love them!! It's sad to see them go but the new one will be great too, I know. The conference was awesome, president knows so much about the gospel and the scriptures, I swear he's one of the future seventies. The spirit is so strong in those conferences! We all sit in his house around tables and talk about each zone and read scriptures and it is just awesome haha idk how to explain it. You've just gotta be there I guess. The Hermana made us a big roast with potatoes and ice cream with cookies and other lovely things... it just makes me miss your cooking, mom! Guhh haha I'm hungryyy . It was great!
So we are teaching an awesome kid right now. His name is Kevin Antony, and he is 9 years old, he is part of a family that is less active, his older brother is an RM and Kevin Antony wants to be a missionary so bad, we found him the other day and he came to church with us yesterday! He is seriously the most intelligent kid on the earth haha. We were talking about deep doctrine with this kid, and his parents weren't even understanding. We had a super spiritual lesson with him the other day, and his mom that isn't a member. We committed Kevin Antony to be baptized on the 30th and he said yes. We asked him why he wants to be baptized, and he said " cause I want to follow Jesus and be clean from my sins and be a better person and go on a mission and teach people here in Uruguay... and I want my mom to get baptized with me." Then he said, "whoever is in favor of me and my mom getting baptized, raise your hand!" haha. Then he walked over to his mom (who has been to church a billion times and had a million lessons with other elders) and said " Mom, will you get baptized with me, please??"... I'm going to leave you all on a cliffhanger haha, we have a lesson tomorrow and we'll see what she says. We're praying for her ! It was a super good lesson, that 9 year old boy is a good example for me:)
So it sounds like everyone is busy at home! This is the last week of the change, we get change calls this Sunday, so we'll see what happens. And HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!! I hope you like that cup I sent, it's handmade from bull horn, you can put pencils in it or something haha idk. Sorry I'm out of time already, I love you all and we'll talk next week. Chau!
