¿còmo les esta yendo?
We had a good week, it went a lot better than the last one haha. We finished the month of May and now on to June! It's crazy how fast the time flies when we have something every day to worry about haha. Yesterday we had stake conference, and all of our zone came with their investigators. It was really neat!! There was tons of people. It filled our huge stake center, I felt like I was at home for a bit with so many people in the church haha. We had a family of investigators in church too!! Esteban, Susana, and their cute little 7 year old daughter Guadalupe. They are the best! They really liked it too so that was good. I'll try to get a pic of them this week and send it. Guadalupe is super funny, she just likes to draw all during church haha, just like any other kid. We're super excited for them! I love families. We are also teaching a handful of other people, but unfortunately they didn't make it to church yesterday so their baptisms are pushed back... ugghghhg. I hate that!
Y bueno, así es la misión. I really like this area though. Yesterday Elder Gardenier came to sleep at the house cause they were going to Montevideo today, so yesterday afternoon after church we went on a little split and he and I worked together. It was fun haha, he couldn't believe that we were walking the streets of Uruguay together when we had grown up in the same ward at home. He's a stud! We found a new investigator and set a baptismal date with her so it was a good afternoon. We almost had a baptism on Sunday, but last minute, the dad came and took the kid camping for the weekend haha gosh dang it. So we'll see what happens. We've been super busy, but I like it. It helps me keep focused, and time is flying. Not that I want it to fly haha, it just is.
The weather is still warm here, it's been raining a little lately, but it's really humid and warm, I have no idea when the cold will come! I love the pics from Josh's graduation haha that is the best, I can't believe it's been two years since I graduated. He looks like a studmuffin! WOOHOOO!!! Haha... I'm glad dad's truck works!! Yes. That's great. Haha, that honestly makes me happy. (I'm focused on the mission I swear, just let me think about trucks 2 seconds) :). That's crazy that little ranger sold so fast haha. Sheesh. Now what am I gonna drive when I get back??? Hmmm.. Well, good thing dad's big one got fixed...;) haha. I'm getting a package together to send home, but it's hard finding all the stuff haha, sorry it's taking forever, I'll let you know when I send it. I've almost got it all. I got a letter from Em last week. Thanks Em!! you and Kam are the best:) I'm super excited for Josh to get his call haha, I tell all the Elders and Hermanas in my zone about him. California Chinese speaking, all the way baby. Write it down cause it's the future told.
I miss the family a ton haha geez, every one's getting so old! It's crazy to think about. I'm just glad I'm here while I am though, I'm running out of time everyday.. and it's kind of scary to be honest haha. I love the mission so much. It's just about killed me up until this point, but every second has been worth it and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I'm glad I've got some time left still to learn even more. I'm happy:) I hope Nick is doing well, is he still in the MTC? I pray for him a lot. He is going to do so well out there! Well, my time has ended already. Sorry I don't have any pics. I've been too busy to take any but I swear next week I will treat you all with my face on your computer screen:) I love you all and stay classy!
Love, Elder Griffin.
