Alright, so first of all-- changes came... aaand I'm leaving Castillos. My comp is going to stay here with his new companion, and Pres. DaSilva called me yesterday morning on the phone and asked me to be zone leader in the zone called Melo! (google it). The furthest zone from Montevideo in the entire mission haha. Even further out than Vergara! I don't know why I ever thought being a district leader made me busy haha. Zone leader is about 101 times more. But I'm excited!! I love the further out areas of the mission and I'm super pumped. Also, my new comp is Elder Burnett. We went to high school together and had classes together at SHS haha so this will be fun. He's from Springville. Tonight we are going to Rocha to sleep at the zone leaders house, then bright and early to Montevideo tomorrow to head out to Melo, a couple hours further out than Vergara and 33 haha. I'm dang excited! I'm sad though at the same time. I love Castillos and my comp! I guess a couple days ago my branch pres here called pres Dasilva and asked him to let me stay here haha, but I guess he said no. I don't want to leave my converts either. They're so awesome!! But I'm excited and ready to go at the same time. Así es la misión.
So general conference was way good. I loved it! I'm sending a picture of us all with our candy and food watching it together in the church yesterday haha, it was fun. The other picture is of my district after our last district meeting of the change that we had. I am so grateful for conference. I never appreciated it enough! I think one of my favorite talks was the one close to the end yesterday about the earthquake in Haiti and the kids that were rescued from the crumbled apartment, that one was an awesome talk. All of them were good! I always learn so much from conference. I can't wait to watch it at home with the breakfast casserole and orange juice and everything... Ahhahah. I would KILL for that right now!! Orange juice is so expensive here:( .....
Anyway.
So I got Hayley's box this week! Woohoo!! It was the best.. I wouldn't have put anything else in it if I could have chosen haha. 10 points for you Hayley:) And the blue shirt she sent me is already my favorite. And my favorite color. How did you know;)
Anyway so wish me luck this week. I am super excited and ready to work! Next week I'll have more to say, but I've got to go home and pack. Love you all!!
Zac-
Hey man, that is dang awesome that you're in the play. You're going to do great, haha don't worry. Even if you do mess up, it's part of the fun! I wish I could see it. Break a leg.... haha. Hey I'm super proud of you for being such a good example and living your life right. That's the way to do it! Starting early is what the Lord wants. Keep up the good work, bud! Peace out.
