HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAM!!! LOVE YOU!!! You are the best! See you in a year!
Woo hoo! We had a baptism in Castagñet! (our area). We had a super rough week.. but, the Lord loves us and blessed us with an awesome baptism this weekend. His name is Oscar and he is such a good man. Super quiet and timid, but an amazing convert. I love being a missionary! Yesterday it rained a ton, and Uruguayans are infamous for having lock downs if it sprinkles for ten minutes, so, not many people came to church. But we had two investigators there so that was cool!
Yesterday we got a text from one of our old investigators that had stopped wanting to talk to us, saying that they want to start going to church again and get baptized!!! (huge miracle) So, after church we went to their house, had a lesson with them, and gave the mom and her two kids a baptismal date for the 28th of April. Woohoooo!! We are so happy haha. I love tender mercies of the Lord. Especially when we had such a rough week! The zone is doing well, it's stressful but I love being where I am with my comp. We are enjoying our time here. Melo has always been famous in the mission for being so awesome! And I always wanted to come here, so it's a privilege to be a zone leader here. We had our last interviews with our mission president this last week: (In June they leave and new ones come in. Weird!! I looovvvve president and the hermana DaSilva so much haha. I don't want them to leave. I'm excited though. During the interviews the whole zone was there, and it starting raining soo much that water was filling up and coming in the church! So my comp and I ran out like crazy with squeegees and tried in vain to push out trillions of gallons of water out to the road so it wouldn't come in. But it was too much haha. We were SOAKED. All the other missionaries were just laughing at us haha it was funny.
That is awesome that Austin is leaving! I'm proud of him. And I cant believe Josh is getting his papers in, that is so cool. I'm SO EXCITED for him!!! Haha yes! Thanks for the pics! I saved em:) That is awesome you all went to St George. I miss that soo much haha geez. The mail hasn't come for a couple weeks, so I haven't gotten the card yet, when it comes I'll let you know, we're going to see if the box is here today so it might be there. You never know. Elder Gardenier is doing well, he's sitting next to me writing his family haha. I gave him some stamps so he could write his family today. He's lovin it out here! He's a stud.
So, I'm already heading down hill, one year down, one more to go. It's crazy how much time goes by. I love the mission so much. This next year´ll be even better.
