From Elder Griffin: WOW.

WOW.

Haha what an amazingly crazzy week we have had! I don't know where to start haha... bueno, I'm going to try to explain what's happening with my life right now starting from last week. So, Melo is just over 6 hours from Montevideo, a looonnngg bus ride haha. It's like from home to Las Vegas. My comp and I went TWICE this week. I'm so tired. Sometimes I catch myself falling asleep in the street as we walk because I just can't do it sometimes, haha, geez.

My comp is awesome.  Elder Burnett, we had classes together at SHS and we know all the same people and it's fun to be comps with him haha. We get along super well together.  Elder Gardanier is doing great too!  He is living about 45 minutes away from the main Melo town, we went to their house the other day to get them all settled in with their bags and stuff.  He's so excited haha, he's a stud!  He is actually right here now with me haha, they came from their area today to spend the pday with us.  Small world!  But don't worry, we'll take good care of him:)

Okay, so Melo. It's AWESOME and HUGE.  It is the biggest zone in the mission, there are 11 areas in it. There are three districts in the zone Melo, with 22 missionaries in total. I don't know why president trusts me, haha, I'm scared.  I think there are 10 zones in the whole mission.  We have so much to do.  When I said I had zero time as a district leader.... HA HA. We had a zone leader meeting in the mission home on Tuesday, so we left Melo, Elder Burnett and I, at midnight to leave to Montevideo  to get there in time.  We didn't even get to go to bed from the day before!  It's insane.  I love being so busy but it exhausts me at the same time.  I'm super poor but hey, it's part of the experience.  The card hasn't gotten here yet, but I prob wont ever need to use it I hope.  Don't worry about money:)

We are actually in a ward this time, with a chapel and everything!  Haha.  It's a massive beast church, I'll send a pic next week.  I love it here:)  We are in a four elder apartment that is really good, so life is happy right now haha.  We actually get fed too!  EVERY DAY haha . Blessings.  I really am super happy.  My comp is awesome, already best friends.. don't know why we didn't hang out in high school, we have an awesome area, an awesome zone, and I'm learning a ton.  Nothing better!  Right now we are going back to the apartment to cook some food.  We'll show elder Gardanier how we live out here haha.  Tell sister Gardanier not to worry.  His comp is a stud.  And so are his zone leaders;)  He'll be more than okay.  Tomorrow we have interviews with Pres. Da Silva, and then my comp and I have to give a conference to the zone.  Woo hoo.... haha.  We need prayers.  I love you all and miss everyone.  Thanks a ton for all the support, sorry I  have no time to write, if I forget to answer a question or forget something please forgive me!  My brain only lets me do so much haha.

Que pasen lindo y sigan firmes. Les amo a todos. Que Dios les bendiga!
Hasta luego.
