Hola buen día qué tal!
Just when I think things are going to calm down we have a week like this haha. Crazy. So on Thursday we went to the little beach town called La Paloma where the sister missionaries are to do interviews for their baptisms. It was awesome! They have an awesome area haha. (We took a couple pics by the ocean right next to the church). Then, we traveled back to Rocha to do more interviews, and the buses were all super slow, so we were gone all day and got home late that night haha. Then on Saturday we had a big branch activity with tons of people and our whole zone went to run everything and it was super fun! There were people singing karaoke and inflatable castles and stuff haha. The people had fun. So we missed all day on Saturday working on the activity and stuff. So poor Castillos haha... Next week is not going to be any easier, we have to stay Saturday and Sunday in Rocha to watch conference, the whole zone's getting together, then on Sunday night we get change calls, and Tuesday we have changes in Montevideo. So we aren't taking rests haha but it's great, I love it like that. A couple of pics are from the activity, one is with one of my converts that we took to Rocha named Mary haha I love her. Then another pic of the wood house is from when we were knocking on doors, and a lady came out, rolled her eyes and sighed and then went back in and closed the door and windows haha. Welcome to Uruguay. So I figured I would at least take a picture of her house if she didn't want to talk to me:)
That's weird that it's starting to get warm there haha cause it's starting to cool off here. It's still really warm though. Mom I can't wait to eat some of your food. OHHH MYY GOSHSHH! I am so sick of the missionary diet haha. No, its not that bad. But I can't wait to eat at home again. Good luck with the cooking and the website! That's so awesome that you're doing that.
That's awesome that Josh is in California haha, sounds fun. And Zack told me that he is Huck Finn for the play, haha awesome. I have no idea what's happening for Mother's Day, I would imagine it's just a phone call, cause they had never done skype before and it was Christmas, but you never know. When is Mothers Day?.... I'll figure it out and let you know. Thanks so much for fasting as a family, that is really awesome, and I can tell!! I'm so blessed out here and I know it's cause I have such an awesome family. I'll be watching for the bank card.
The mail boxes here are so screwed up!! The other day I went to the bus station to pick up the box with all the letters for my district, and it came, but with it they sent a box cleeaar back from Montevideo, that we sent off over a month ago, with letters in it that I had written to home in February that still hadn't even reached the mission office... Ughghghg. haha. So, if anyone at home isn't getting letters, it's not cause I'm not writing, it's cause Satan exists and doesn't let them get though. They'll get there eventually:)
Anyway, the next time I write I might be on the other side of Uruguay haha. We'll see. I love you all and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you! Chaucito!
