Hello beautiful America!
Wow, awesome week! I'm sending a bunch of pics from last pday, when we took a bus to Charqueada. It was fun. General conference was amazing! I GOT TWO PACKAGES! Haha, let me try to organize my thoughts so I can write this email.....Okay, so general conference was dang good! We all went to 33 to watch it, and it made me miss home sooooo much! Seeing Utah faces and accents and the mountains and everything...uggggh, haha--but it was good! We watched it live here, so we didn't start priesthood session til nine at night and we were all exhausted after wards. We brought a few investigators and members from Vergara to watch it, because thy had never seen it before. The members here are so faithful! They have no idea about how big the church is or anything, but they still go to our little meeting house (literally a house) every Sunday. It was an amazing experience for them to see the conference center and the prophet and everything. They loved it!
The older lady in the red jacket is one of our investigators. She is awsome! She is actually Brazilian, and her name is Mirucha, she doesn't understand Spanish as well as Portuguese, so its kind of hard to teach her, but she has a baptismal date and is progressing really well! Her husband passed away and is the one I told you about where he died with a Book of Mormon by his side. The rest in the picture are members from Veragara. I loved conference so much, I took like a hundred pages of notes. The mission really makes you realize how valuable every word in conference is.
So guess what, we only have two weeks left in this change...can you believe it?? I can't. Time flies. Its awesome thought, haha. So I got two huge awesome perfect packages this week. Finally!! Yes, I was so happy. Thanks so much, Em, and grandma and mom! Haha, everyone at conference was so jealous. It's like Christmas when a missionary gets that kind of stuff. Thanks so much you guys are the best!:) I now have tons of stamps, so get ready for some letters! Thanks for sending all those pictures too, mom, I'm saving them so I can print them off. I'm so grateful for all the support from home. I'm not going to lie....its HARD out here some days. So hard. But it helps a lot to know that my family supports and loves me, and that I get to come home to them! So, thanks! :) Well, I hope all is well. Everything is great here in the fields of Guay, and its starting to get extremely hot, haha. Love it! Thanks again for everything! Letters coming. They take forever to get to and from but they're coming. Love you all!
