Good morning everybody:)
So it's been another really good week. We've been traveling a lot lately, for interviews with the president, baptisms, and intercambios and what not. It feels like we're in other parts of Uruguay more than in Vergara. This is the last week of this change CRAZY! I can't believe another 6 weeks has already gone by. This Sunday we get the call from the offices in Montevideo, telling us whether or not we are switching areas and stuff. I reeally want to stay here in Vergara. I love it, and we've got a lot of baptisms coming up. We've got a baptism planned this Saturday for Ruben, he's awesome haha I love him. We're trying to decide if we want to take him all the way to 33 to baptize him in the font, or just do it here in the river. It is starting to get ridiculously hot here. I have never felt such humidity in my life. You wake up sweating!! Haha, when you dry off after getting out of the shower you are still wet because there is just so much water in the air. It rained a TON this last couple days too, the river overflowed and there were literally rivers in the streets. It made proselyting interesting. There were frogs everywhere. They would be floating down the gutter because the water was moving so fast they couldn't get out. When we got home we saw a frog on our window in our kitchen.... we caught it and kept it as a pet for about 20 minutes haha. I can't believe how much Heavenly Father is blessing us right now, we are finding so many people, mostly through awesome members, and the baptism dates are just piling up. I hope I get to stay here for them. The other day we were in a lesson with this super old lady, and she thought I was from Chile haha... obviously she was blind because I am by far the tallest red head here in Vergara, if not Uruguay. By the way I think I'm still growing haha. Dad, you should measure my last height line thing in the pantry and tell me what it is at so I can see if I've grown. I'm glad all is well at home! It sounds like you're all enjoying a dang Betos burrito... ugh...l would KILL for that right now. Mom sounds like she's having fun on the cruise. Josh, I cant believe you did Melleves hahaha.... you're such a stud. I almost did that but I didn't have time. I'm glad you had fun at homecoming too! Enjoy high school while you're in it haha. But be good of course. I'm glad you're prepping so well for your mission already, you can never do too much! Lauren, if you buy an Iphone before I get one that is just not fair! Haha jk do whatever, but just so you know I'm getting one too, so you'll have to keep me updated on all the good games:) And shoot, poor Blake, we'll pray for him, he's a trooper:) And Taren is in China?? Whoa haha that's crazy. She doesn't even speak Chinese haha. That's great though. I tell ya, the best way to gain an appreciation of all the blessings we have is go and serve in a foreign country for a while, sheesh. Gosh dang it Utah State, I cant believe they couldn't pull it off;) Thanks so much for sending me a letter Grandma Griffin! It was nice to hear from you. And thanks for the stamps! I'm going to write a bunch today haha. I hope all the letters are getting there and stuff. We didn't get a box this week and maybe not this next week cause of changes. But keep sending stuff anyway people, they'll get here eventually haha. Well, I'm glad that everyone is happy and doing well, same goes for us in little ol' Vergara. Seriously you should all get on google earth and type in Vergara, Uruguay haha. I'm walking those streets today so I'll wave hi;) Well, gotta go, I love you all! Chao!
