Today is Tyson's birthday, I can't believe he's 20! It feels really strange not making his favorite dinner and a birthday cake today. I miss him. Maybe I'll go make a cake anyway :)
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
Haha, we had a good week. It's weird to think that my bday is manana. I don't even feel like holidays exist anymore, haha. Thanks for all the little notes! I got a package from grandpa with the shoes! Thanks SO MUCH grandpa! :) They are perfect. I've worn them every day this week and I love em. You're the best! Also, I got the other package from you, mom, but I haven't opened it yet. Soon :) I'm excited. You guys are the best for supporting me so much. I love you all! So, we had another baptism this week. Isabel Rocha got baptized! She's great, her granddaughter (in the pic) is a member and we finally got her to get baptized haha. Awesome. It was a great day! Also, one of my converts that got baptized a couple weeks ago here in Castillos, received the priesthood and passed the sacrament in church yesterday! That was neat to see :) I love it!
So ya, we had zone conference in Maldonado this last week , that was awesome. We got fed, haha, so that was good. I felt like we were driving through LA with all the cars and malls and beaches there, sheesh. Its a whole different world in the tourist cities here. So, guess what, There are grape vines everywhere. They just hang from the walls and it is like a splash of Welch's grape juice in your face when you eat one, they are so yummy and juicy, haha. We love it here. I love my companion, one of my favorites for sure! Its really wierd not speaking English. Not even in Rocha, cause all the other missionaries are Latino haha, so my Spanish has gotten a lot better this last change. A week from yesterday we get change calls, can you believe it??? Six weeks has never gone faster. I think we'll both stay here, usually happens like that with trainers and oros. I want to stay!
So I had a dream this week that Cooper came up to me while I was laying on the couch watching the Discovery Channel, in his diaper with some noodles and some ground beef, and asked me in perfect Guayan Spanish if I was hungry, hahaha...don't ask me where my dreams come from cause I don't know. I dream more in Spanish than English now. Random experience, haha. I also got a letter from grandma for my bday too. Thanks grandma!!! Love you, you're the best. Letters coming:) Right now we are going to go home and make some awesome tacos with the taco mix I got in one of the boxes, and we are going to write letters and get fat with our tacos haha. I love you all and I'm so grateful for your support and love! It helps more than you know. Be safe and love everyone :)
