Buen Dia!
This has been a crazy week. Right now we are in Montevideo in a huge bus station called Tres Cruces. All the new missionaries had to go to the doctor today to have a check-up so we had to leave Castillos at 4:00 this morning to get here on time, haha. It's a huge, massive mall with a whole bunch of stores from the states and McDonald's and everything that you would see in the mall in Provo, haha. It's awesome!
Anyway, so we had a good week! On Tuesday, we went to Montevideo again for changes, even though my comp and I are still together, President Da Silva called me as district leader, so I had to go to Montevideo for a meeting. In my district is an Elder from Salt Lake, his comp from Uruguay, us, and two sister missionaries that are working in one of the touristy beach areas. One of them is from Springville, haha. We we are going to be super busy now! I have to do the baptism interviews for the missionaries in my district. So we'll be traveling a lot. Also, Hayley's cousin , Elder Brassfield is my new zone leader! Haha., so we talked all the way home on the bus from Montevideo and we slept in their house Tuesday night before we took the bus to Castillos. The district leaders always do interchanges with the zone leaders, so we'll get to go proselyting together! I love connections.
Anyway, so this was a good week. The bad thing is that we had two baptisms planned for this last Saturday and Elder Brassfield and his comp came all the way from Rocha to do the interviews, and they both fell through! Gosh dang it...this week, I hope! We still don't have a branch president here. We only have about 25 active members that come, and the district counselor is acting as the branch pres right now. These poor tiny branches here struggle so much!
Haha, that's awesome that you went to the monster trucks. I want to go. I miss Cade and Cooper a ton! I always show the pictures of the family to everyone, haha, they love them. Everyone thinks you are an actress, mom. And everyone thinks dad is a super tall Latino. And also all the girls think Zack is super cute, haha. More than once they have asked me if they can keep the picture of him. I say no. I got a letter today from Grandma Griffn!! Thanks so much grandma, love you! Also from Grandma Harris, love you too! Thanks so much :) I got a letter from Cameron too, haha, awesome, and Sister Spilker. We are still teaching Walter, the super old guy. He's awesome, haha. We have a lot of investigators right now, thankfully! Now the hard part is getting them in the water. Its starting to cool down a little here finally, the fall is coming! Yes....all is well here. We are healthy (more or less) and happy :) I love you all and thanks again for all of the support and love. It helps so much! Hasta Luego!
