This year we are especially grateful that mom is doing well. Thankfully, this Thanksgiving she is doing so much better! Last year she was really sick from chemo all during the holidays. This year, she felt good enough to have Thanksgiving dinner at her house, and it was great to be there! It was such great weather, the guys and kids were able to do a little raking and a lot of playing in the leaves while we got dinner ready in the kitchen. It was a great day, and we missed Melanie and Emily and their families, who were celebrating with their in-laws this year. We are so thankful for all of our blessings, and so glad that mom is back to normal and doing great. She's keeping up with her checkups, and everything is looking good. We have a lot to celebrate and be thankful for this year!

Mom even felt good enough to do the flowers this year. She's missed
being able to do that! (We've missed it too!) |

We had the pre-teens sit there, too. I'm not sure where Zac was for this pic. |
