Congratulations to Josh for earning his Eagle Scout Award. Yeah!!!!! No more nagging from mom!!! (I'm sure Josh is ecstatic about that!)
We are so proud of Josh--all of you Eagle Scouts and Eagle Scout moms know how much work it is to get this award. For his project, Josh painted the white triangles on the roads that direct emergency vehicles to fire hydrants. He did the South half of Mapleton, with lots of help from his scouting buddies and leaders. They were awesome, too!
He received his award at Timberline Scout Camp last night. It was a great experience and we loved watching him receive his award. During the ceremony, I had a chance to tell everyone there what a great kid he is and to talk a little bit about him and how hard he has worked. He chose to give his mentor pin to Rob, which was cool! Way to go, Josh...you are awesome and we love you!
Now, some more back-blogging. Since my blog was still on my to-do list last year, I wanted to talk about Ty's Eagle Court of Honor too. He received his Eagle award last May. We are so proud of him, too! For his project, he poured cement rings around the fire pits at the Bennion Creek Campground. Again, lots and lots of work! Great job, Ty!

Congratulations! I remember getting mother's pins as my boys made it through the scouting ranks. Most times I thought, I really didn't do that much, but when Ry and Josh got their Eagles, I'm like pin it on there baby!! :)
