We got to Juneau on Wednesday, and it was the first chance we had to get off the boat. This was exciting for me, because I got to call and check on the kids. Other than Kamryn having stomach flu and Josh having pnemonia, everyone was fine. It was good to hear that they were all safe and sound, but talking to them made me miss them even more and I was pretty homesick by Wednesday night. Thank goodness for the easy access to all sorts of chocolate treats on the ship. That helped take my mind off of it!
It was nice and warm the day we were in Juneau. We had a fun day sightseeing and shopping.

This is a picture of me in front of the governor's mansion. One of the couples that we ate dinner with every night ran into Sarah Palin when they got there. They took a picture with her and said she was really nice. Funny!
