How is everyone? Snow?? Its like 200 degrees here so there´s no snowy Christmas this year. It's so pretty though, palm trees and ocean breeze everywhere, I love it! We have had an incredible week, as always. I don't know how but every week seems to fly faster and faster. I love this ward so much here, there is a family here that we ate with this week that goes to Park City a lot so they know all about Utah, haha it's fun to be in a ward like this. There is actually a family here that's from Provo, they moved from Montevideo when their kids were really young, and their kids all grew up in Provo and went to Provo High and stuff, and about 6 months ago moved back here into our ward. So it's fun talking to them, it's just like having normal neighbors at home. They lived out by Uncle Alan and Aunt Regina apparently. I also met a family that was neighbors with Alan and Regina in Provo about ten years ago, they are in our the ward next to us haha. They are the family Ptibladdo, the sister Ptibladdo said that she would do Cindy Crawford exerzises with Regina when their kids were younger. It's a small world! So I feel right at home here.
Oh, and mom... remember the hermana missionary you met at temple square last year at Christmas that brought the package here for me? Well, turns out that she is also in the ward next to us (we share the same church) and I met her the other day haha, she says hi and that our family is so nice! We helped her a couple days ago get her application ready for BYU, she wants to go for the summer semester, so she came here to the offices and we helped her with her English on her papers. Funny huh? Anyway, here in Uruguay. We ate with a family last night that invited us to their house Christmas Eve, so that'll be fun! Sounds like it was a good Thanksgiving at home! None of the pics work.. don't know why. I'll see them in a few months though . Haha thanks for letting the hermanas eat, they're lucky!
So I'm just about to get my Uruguayan ID card, then I can take the drivers test to get my license. It's even harder now though cause one of the secretaries got his wallet robbed the other day, and it had his license in it, so now we have one less driver here haha, so the sooner I can get mine the better. Yesterday we went to president's house and helped him with changes, what an amazing experience!! It's neat to see:) Then he cooked us lunch and we ate with him and his wife haha, I love them, they're the best. The packages haven't come yet, but I'll get them as soon as they do:) Thanks for sending them! I feel bad though, I get so much stuff from home.... since I don't have a ton of time left, use the efforts on packages for Josh from now on:) He needs them more than me. I love them obviously, but with these Christmas ones I think they'll top me off till I get home:) Thanks a million!
It sounds like Uncle Richard's funeral was nice, I'm glad everything turned out well, I hope the family is being able to recuperate. It's amazing how things like that grow our testimonies so much. I can't even begin to explain how much I've seen myself grow out here (not just physically)! My testimony is worth more than anything. Graciela, the lady we baptized, has completely changed. She laughs, is happy, participates in church activities... it's amazing how the gospel changes lives. I love it! Well, gotta go. President said this morning that we can go to a zoo here in Montevideo, so we're excited haha. Vamos Arriba Uruguay, les quiero mas que nada! Espero que todos anden bien. Manden saludos a la nieve cuando venga;) Chau.
Mom, tell Grandma Harris thanks for the letter I got from her, super sweet. And for the money too, gosh my family loves me way too much haha . So tell her I say thank you! I love you, so hi to everyone!
