Buenos días a todos, ¡nos estamos ahogando con toda la lluvia acá!
It was an awesome week! Like always:) On Tuesday we went to Montevideo for the zone council, which was super great as always! I love being taught by the mission president and seeing all my other friends from the mission. Our zone had a really good month in September, so we are really grateful and excited for this month! Luckily 33 isn't as far as Melo, so the travel isn't so rough, we got home at about 9 at night instead of 11.
This has seriously been the fastest week of my life though, I feel like I'm in a dream haha.. what's happening to my mission?! Time flies too fast. Anyway, we had an amazing general conference yesterday and Saturday, I hope everyone at home was able to watch it! Ahh... I love conference so much. We all got together and watched it in the church while we all ate food and stuff, haha it was fun. It has been raining a ton for like 3 days straight.. all the rivers are flooded and all the flowers are coming out and it smells really good haha. Walking down the street reminds me of being at grandma's house smelling all the flowers. I can't believe I'm going into my last summer already! I'm super excited for the summer here though, we need the sunshine haha. We're all soaked.
Anyway, so we have interviews with President this Thursday and a little zone conference. I'm excited, President Armstrong is a stud! He is soo trusting and supportive and I already feel like he knows me super well. It's amazing how the Lord works in with the whole missionary process. I'm sending a few pics- one is of the outside of our little chapel here, the other of the inside, and the other pics are of our house. Haha... don't judge the picture of us bundled up like huge gringo assassins. It was freeeeezing that night and we threw on whatever we could find to go out and work and keep warm. I love the mission:) The pictures you sent in the email still aren't working, but it's not you, mom... I think it's my dumb email account ugh. Idk.. but I'll try to figure it out.
I can't believe Josh is leaving this week. CRAZY!!! All the missionaries in my zone know about it haha, I tell everyone about him. I'm so excited for him! I'll write a letter to his address today. How long will he be in the MTC?? Insane! Zack's next haha, woo! So we have a baptism this week planned, we are excited! They are getting a branch president called here for Varela, so the stake president is putting me as a counselor for when he comes.. my comp as the secretary. I love the mission and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Sorry I don't have tons of time to write.. gotta go.
