Stress. Miracles. More stress, more miracles.
Holy cow! Haha, this week has been craaaazy! So yeah, I'm training! My new comp just got to the mission this week. His name is Elder Torales and he is from Encarnacion Paraguay. I never thought I would be training a Latino. He's great! And 25 years old, haha. But, we love being comps already. So, I can't even get close to explaining all that has happened this week, but I'm going to try. We have seen scary amounts of opposition here. I know I always say that, but it gets worse everywhere I go.
Here in Castillos, it's a super pretty little town by the beach. It was two Sister missionaries that we replaced, so the house is awesome and clean and has everything that a girl would ever think they'd need, haha. :) The branch here is small, not as small as Vergara, but small. We don't have a branch president as of right now, so we're kind of in limbo as far as that goes. We've met a few of the members and so far they are all amazing! Its weird having a Latino comp. I haven't spoken English since I left Vergara with Elder Davies. I love it here though. Our house is on the top of another, and it has a little terrace that looks over the town. It's my favorite house so far! There are a lot of hills here, I feel like I'm walking around Park City or something. Its a richer part of the country, close to the nice beaches and resorts and everything. On our way here from Montevideo on the bus, we drove on the BEAUTIFUL coast and saw all the resorts and beaches and cruise ships parked and everything. It was awesome. I'm definitely coming back after my mission!
We have a baptism planned for this next week, her name is Silvia, she's 18 years old and is super prepared. The font we have in our "church" which is really just a house, but bigger than the one in Vergara, is just a big tub thing that we fill up with a hose, haha. But hey it's the ordinance that counts. I'll have more pics next week, we honestly have not had one single spare second since we've been here, I've never been busier in my mission. The ones I'm sending are of me and my comp in the mission home, on our terrace at home, and other random dumb ones, haha. Better photos will be taken, I promise. I also want to apologize to anyone that I never answered in a letter or something. I try, I promise, but I just have no time! Ever! Its crazy... But, all is well here and I'm happy, my comp is happy (I hope) and we are going to baptize all over the place here! :) For some reason this town is infamous for suicides... yeah...creepy. So, hopefully we can find the people that need us most. I 'm super happy and excited and feel better than ever! I'm also more tired and stressed than ever, but hey, its worth it. I love you all, thanks again for all the support!
