From Big Bump to Black and Blue

Well, Cooper's big bump in his head is gone, and now he just has a green head and a black eye. He had a check-up yesterday, and the Dr. said he is doing really well. He's acting perfectly normally, thank goodness, and is wanting to get back to climbing and jumping. It's a challenge keeping him down! We'll go back in a couple of weeks for another check. As long as he continues acting like himself, we won't need another CT scan. He's such a sweet little thing, and is as happy as ever!

For an early family home evening last night, we decided to go get a shave ice, because it was Tyson's first day on the job there. They were only going to be open till six, so we stopped by at about 5:30. We thought Ty could get lots of practice making us our tasty treats. We found out he wasn't there, though. He was at the insta-care getting fixed up after a little accident. I guess the drill that holds the block of ice in place went through his thumb. They did an x-ray, and the drill went through the thumb nail and hit the bone, but didn't break it. They bandaged him up, and he went back to work. As soon as he got home, he got rid of the big bandages and just put on a bandaid. They were hindering his expert texting abilities. This morning he's a little sore, but back to texting like a pro. Oh, ya, the shave ice was super delicious!!!

Yeah! Shaved ice season! Our favorite family treat. I love my Tiger's blood. Glad to hear that everybody is recovering.

What a way to start your Job, Ty! Glad it wasn't worse, and that both you and Cooper are on the mend.

Your family is very blessed. Lots of smaller accidents but nothing that won't heal with time. I love reading your blog!
